Oil production plan of the State concern “Türkmennebit” for January–February of the current year was fulfilled at 107.3 percent. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via digital system on March 6.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov reported on the results of the work carried out in January–February of the current year aimed at increasing oil and gas production and expanding the routes for their supply to the global market.
As noted, during the reporting period the plan for oil refining at oil refineries was fulfilled at 107.1 percent.The production plan for gasoline was fulfilled at 122.7 percent, diesel fuel at 106.4 percent, lubricating oils at 102.7 percent, liquefied gas at 119.7 percent, and the extraction of natural and associated gas at 106.7 percent.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking comprehensive measures to increase the production of hydrocarbon resources. The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out effective work to ensure the efficient use of the existing production capacities of the oil and gas sector and to explore new mineral reserves.
