Construction of a hydrogen gas purification and concentration complex is planned this year at the Seydi Oil Refinery of the State Concern Türkmennebit in Lebap Province under the “Programme for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments for 2026.”
According to official media of Turkmenistan, construction will also continue at the refinery on a water intake pumping station for the water supply and sewage workshop. The facility is designed with a capacity of 145,920 cubic meters of water per day.
The Seydi Oil Refinery is part of the Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex, which accounts for more than a quarter of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas refining output.
Lebap Region’s industrial sector remains a key driver of regional economic growth, supported by substantial natural resource reserves. The bulk of industrial production in the region comes from extractive and processing industries.
