On October 17, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which a number of state affairs were reviewed. The Vice-Premier Guvanch Agajanov reported on the ongoing work to organize the 31st XXXI International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026». As reported, preparations are currently underway for these events, which are scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in accordance with the relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan. The upcoming forum is a clear testimony to the successful implementation, under the wise leadership of the Head of State, of the initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag aimed at creating a favorable investment climate in Turkmenistan. The international conference will be held under the motto «Energy. Cooperation. Development». Within its framework, it is also planned to organize plenary sessions and other forums, round table discussions, and bilateral negotiations. In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted for the consideration of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Having heard the report, Arkadagly Hero-Serdar noted that international conferences and exhibitions are regularly held in Turkmenistan to develop the oil and gas complex and strengthen international cooperation in this area. In this context, the Head of State instructed the Vice-Premier Guvanch Agajanov to ensure a high organizational level for the 31st International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026».
